Commis II   Commis II Prepare the mise en place and handle food preparation and assist with food presentation as part of the kitchen brigade. Key Responsibilities: Prepare kitchen equipment for use. Assemble and prepare ingredients for menu items. Prepare simple food items. Prepare food for service. Assist with checking, receiving and storing of goods. Maintain storage areas. Clean kitchen and equipment. Handle waste and linen. Maintain a hygienic kitchen and high standards of personal hygiene. Conduct on the job training in accordance with the departmental standards and procedures and maintain a record of progress for each staff member. Attend all briefings. Participate in training. Additional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the hotel. Desired Skills & Qualifications: Egyptian Nationality. Experience in F&B kitchen role within the luxury hospitality industry. Ability to work and communicate in multinational environment, including excellent oral and written language skills in Arabic and good oral and written language skills in English; Any Additional languages are a plus. Ability to work as part of a team, thrive under pressure in challenging circumstances and come up with proactive, rational solutions. Excellent verbal communication skills. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Ability to operate computer and office equipment. Tolerant and open minded.
